The process for getting started is

  • Sign up is easy. Just use your Facebook or LinkedIn account

  • Assign trust levels to your contacts and specify how they are related to you.
  • Techolos.com will use the information you provide to automatically create groups.
  • Techolos will also create extended groups for you by finding people that you may not be aware of but are connected to you by common friends. Techolos will also create a Neighborhood group for you.
  • Post information on Items that you would like to put up for sale or for loan. You can advertise your item only to specific groups that you select.
  • You can also specify what services you are willing to offer.
  • You can also search for items that others have put up for sale or for loan. If you find an item of item, ask for the time or service.
  • Multiple prospective buyers or borrowers will show interest in an item you have posted.
  • Select one of these people. You can review information about the prospective clients such as whether there are any common friends, their giving history etc.
  • Deliver item to the client or provide the service.
